SIMULATO 1.0

IEEE IAS SBC RIT successfully conducted the first episode of SIMULATO 1.0, a webinar series of 2 hour duration each,on the simulation software PROTEUS on the date 16th April 2020 with 100 registrations from 8 sections namely Bangladesh, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Madras, Bombay, Hydrebad, Banglore, Kerala.

SIMULATO 1.0 aimed at introducing and acquainting the technical students with simulation softwares which are a chief requisite for a career in technological fields.

AKSHAY C (Technical Coordinator IEEE PES KERALA Chapter, Vice - Chair IEEE SB RIT) handled the session on PROTEUS on 16th April 2020 from 06:00-08:00 PM IST. Proteus is a simulation and design software tool developed by Labcenter Electronics for Electrical and Electronic circuit design, worthy of the tagline "From concept to completion".It is a Software suite equipped with a variety of tools for schematic captire, simulation and PCB designing coupled with 2D CAD drawing feature.50 registrants participated actively in the webinar. The webinar started off with an introduction of IAS to all the participants and its member benefits by Nithin V M , IAS Chairman IEEE IAS SBC RIT. Later on Akshay C handled the session on proteus, beginning with circuit simulation of simple circuits and mistakes generally occur in simulations. After the introductory part, he did a live demonstration of Clipper circuits, astable multi vibrator circuits on the software and formed the output in the virtual CRO which gave the participants a good idea on using the software. He also taught the different circuits that can be implemented using Arduino, virtually using Proteus.After this, the participants raised a few queries and doubts which were answered by the presenter.
